The British Embassy Tbilisi holds a Bilateral Programme Budget. The Foreign and Commonwealth Office provides this money to the Embassy for small projects. All projects have to meet Embassy objectives as outlined on the ‘Working with Georgia’ page. Generally, we do not consider cultural or educational projects, as this is the responsibility of the British Council in Tbilisi. We’d be interested in projects that look to support conflict resolution, good governance, human rights and  rule of law. In the past this fund has supported Georgian attendance at international conferences, local Human Rights work, and activities in support of the 2008 Presidential and Parliamentary Elections.

Please note that the British Embassy will only consider projects for funding if they have been submitted on Foreign and Commonwealth Office project forms.
